A Virtual Visit to the Museum
SICKLE
During the Mid Bronze Age first tools were used. This blade of a sickle was mounted onto a wooden stick, which does no longer exist.
CLASP
This beautiful clasp, a sort of a brooch, was used to fix the clothes.

ARROWHEADS

Arrowheads made of bronze

FLAX
Flax and other natural plants, as well as wool were used for weaving clothes.

 

 

FLINTSTONE
In the beginning of the Bronze Age the tips of the flintstones were very delicately elaborated. They used to become the favourite “Souvenirs” for the visitors of Courtinals in the 19th and in the early 20th cents.
 
AXE
GROUNDING STONE

A large stone grinds the corn on this grounding stone, a large flat stone out of the basin of the Salagou. It can be found all over the park.
