The Parc des Courtinals is fully integrated into the Cirque of Mourèze, since 1997 classified with 2 stars by Guide Michelin und represents the most impressive part of the Cirque as well as the entrance to the so called world of rocks...

By walking through the park you can quickly see all the different objects of interest of the Cirque de Mourèze and you got the chance to enjoy a breathtaking view across the world of rocks in total by climbing the unique Belvédère. Its table of orientation is recommended by most of the travel guides on the region. The park presents you in short all the geological, botanic and archaeological aspects of the ruin like rock formations of the total Cirque by walking its only trail.

On the contrary the hiking trails starting out of the medieval village are recommended only to experienced hikers and walking them will take you at least between 2hrs30 and 6 hrs..

The courtesy desk of the park offers you free hiking maps.
